This model of the Surtees Ford TS9 was driven by John Surtees at the 1971 British Grand Prix, where he finished in 6th place.
Whilst based on a kit by This Way Up, it has been extensively modified. For example I've re-created the radiator, the air intakes, and the front suspension in brass (see the comparison photo). I've also modified the nose and the main bodywork with some new parts in brass in order to more easily fit the new, scratch-built suspension.
