A Tameo Silverline kit of the March Ford 701 was used to build this new model. It's Mario Andretti's car from the 1970 Spanish Grand Prix where he finished third.
I have, as usual, made a number of modifications to the kit using my own scratch-built parts. One new feature on this model is the addition of scratch-built fuel injectors, each of which is made from 5 parts. There are some photos at the end of the stream which show the steps in creating these parts from brass and aluminium; the wire for this example was added later. Other features include a a new fuel cap in brass; a new dashboard with instruments made from turned parts rather than decals; a new gear stick; a new roll-bar in brass; new water lines in aluminium tube which are attached to the body with scratch-built brackets in brass; various nuts and bolts have been added to the bodywork and roll-bar; and various lines and cables have also been added to the engine.

The model was finished in 2020 and has now been sold. However, if you would like a quote for a similar model, please do not hesitate to Contact Me.
