1:43-Scale, Hand-built Model of the Jaguar C-Type, Winner Le Mans 1953, by Pierre Laugier, LP Creation

1:43-Scale, Hand-built Model of the Jaguar C-Type, Winner Le Mans 1953

This new 1:43-scale model is of the 1953 winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.  Jaguar entered three factory C-Types, and two British drivers, Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton, came home in first place with one of the first cars ever to race at Le Mans with disc brakes.

The model has been built from a kit by Paddock, largely "from the box", but with some additional detail using my own scratch-built parts.  These include new louvred openings, new exhausts, and changes to the interior of the car.  The seats have been painted with artist oil paints to resemble real leather.

The model was finished in late 2023 and was on display on my stand at Retromobile 2024.  It has now been sold, but if you would like a quote for a similar model, please do not hesitate to Contact Me.
