This new model of the McLaren Ford M19A is from a Hiro kit and was created towards the end of 2017. This version was driven by Denny Hulme into 4th place at the 1971 Canadian Grand Prix.

The most recent photos show the finished model, which was on display at Retromobile 2018.  The photos of the work-in-progress show parts of the bodywork, as well as a new scratch-built radiator water pipe in brass.  The photo shows a comparison with the white metal part supplied with the kit.
