1:43-Scale, Super-detailed, Hand-built Model of the Ferrari 312 T2, 1977 German Grand Prix

This new model of the Ferrari 312 T2 was driven by Niki Lauda at the 1977 German Grand Prix, which he went on to win.  Lauda also won his second F1 World Championship title in 1977 driving this B-specification 312 T2.

The model has been built using the Tameo World Champions white metal kit.  As this is a super-detailed kit with lots of parts I have built it largely “from-the-box”, adding only a few hand-made parts. These include a new roll bar and a new surround for the trumpets, which has been moulded in resin. I also added individual rivets to the bodywork, and various fuel lines and cables such as the spark plug wires to the engine.

The model was on display for the first time at Retromobile 2020 and has now been sold.  If you are interested in a quote for a similar model, please do not hesitate to Contact Me.
